We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative Pediatric Physical Therapist with a strong interest in manual therapy and hands-on treatment techniques to join our pediatric therapy team. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with children and families and is passionate about helping children improve mobility, strength, coordination, posture, balance, and functional participation. This position offers the opportunity to provide individualized, evidence-based physical therapy while incorporating appropriate manual therapy and hands-on techniques to support mobility, alignment, tissue flexibility, joint mobility, and overall functional movement. Responsibilities Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on functional needs and family goals. Provide hands-on and manual therapy interventions as clinically appropriate, including soft-tissue techniques, joint mobility techniques, myofascial techniques, stretching, positioning, and movement facilitation. Address gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, gait, posture, mobility, and functional movement. Incorporate therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, developmental activities, and functional mobility training. Use play-based and child-centered approaches to engage children in therapy. Educate parents and caregivers regarding home exercise programs, positioning, handling, movement strategies, and ways to support progress at home. Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, educators, physicians, and other members of the child's care team. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and discharge recommendations accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and functional outcomes. Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive therapy environment for children of all abilities. Qualifications Master's Degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Pediatric physical therapy experience preferred. Strong interest or experience in manual therapy and hands-on treatment techniques. Knowledge of pediatric development, movement patterns, and common pediatric diagnoses. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to establish positive relationships with children and their families. Strong clinical reasoning, organization, and documentation skills. CPR/BLS certification as required. $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
