Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity focused on supporting students in their earliest stages of development. This role is ideal for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) eager to make a meaningful impact within a school setting. Beginning August 2026, you'll work closely with a small, manageable caseload, empowering three students in grades K-6 with individualized care and attention. What we're looking for: Licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Previous experience or genuine interest in working in schools Understanding of pediatric therapy and school-based services Excellent communication and collaboration skills Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with children Your responsibilities would include: Providing direct physical therapy services to three students, focusing on mobility, gross motor skills, and functional independence Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in accordance with student IEPs Collaborating with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support Conducting regular progress assessments and updating relevant documentation Serving as a resource for school staff regarding physical development and accommodations This position is designed with flexibility in mind: you'll be scheduled for up to five hours each week, allowing you to provide exceptional support without overextending your workload.
