Position Overview Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team based in Clearwater, Florida. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with your colleagues to enhance patients' mobility and quality of life, providing a comprehensive range of services aimed at recovery and rehabilitation. Our facility is spacious and modern, fully equipped with cutting-edge technology and an expansive gym area dedicated to sports medicine. Our team consists of seasoned professionals who are committed to using evidence-based practices to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. We prioritize patient-centered care and aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where every individual feels valued and supported. Work Environment Your work will be conducted onsite at our outpatient office located in Clearwater, Florida. The facility features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and a collaborative team environment that includes experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Assess and diagnose patients' conditions through thorough evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans to address individual objectives. Manage a caseload efficiently, providing care to one patient per hour while maintaining high standards of professionalism. Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions focused on improving range of motion and mobility, utilizing advanced techniques that may include manual therapy and exercise prescriptions. Develop and monitor individualized fitness and wellness programs that promote recovery, strengthen muscles, and enhance overall functionality. Educate patients about non-surgical options for treatment, reducing their reliance on medications and fostering healthier lifestyle choices. Evaluate treatment effectiveness through ongoing assessment and patient feedback, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, complying with all regulatory standards and best practices. Engage in continuous collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to comprehensive patient care. Patient Population / Client Focus We primarily serve a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes aiming to optimize performance, and those looking to manage chronic pain. Our focus on empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey encompasses a holistic approach that prioritizes education, motivation, and sustained lifestyle changes. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position. A valid Florida state license as a Physical Therapist is necessary to practice in our facility. Applicants should have a clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions reported against their license. Strong manual therapy skills and demonstrated expertise in exercise prescription are essential. Proficiency in using WebPT EMR software is highly favored, as it is integral to our patient management and documentation processes. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is advantageous, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes. Experience in sports rehabilitation or specialized manual therapy techniques will be viewed favorably.
