Qualifications:
Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Florida or eligibility to obtain before start date Previous experience in an outpatient or hospital setting preferred Demonstrated commitment to patient and staff safety Strong clinical reasoning, evaluation, and documentation skills Proficiency in developing and modifying individualized treatment plans Uphold all applicable State Practice Acts, professional codes of conduct, and compliance standards Desire for ongoing professional development and willingness to mentor students Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients, creating and implementing treatment plans in coordination with physicians Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for designated patients Design functional, goal-driven treatment programs to facilitate community reintegration Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and colleagues Maintain high standards of documentation, goal writing, and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements Demonstrate safety awareness across all areas including safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazard recognition Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment for students Actively pursue professional growth and organizational performance improvement initiatives
