Job Description

Royal Oak Nursing Center located in Dade, FL is currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join their In-House therapy team! Royal Oak Skilled Nursing Facility has been providing extraordinary services to families in the Dade City community for over 35 years. Royal Oak is dedicated to providing premium skilled nursing services, superior therapy services and unsurpassed personal care services. Our facility offers short-term or long-term options to help loved ones recover as quickly as possible so they can return home and to their day-to-day life. We offer inpatient and outpatient therapy and rehabilitation services to all families. We offer the benefits of a hospital in a home-like setting to ensure a more comfortable recovery. We offer stroke recovery, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and medical nutritional therapy. Compensation starts at $50/hr and increases based on level of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their physical therapy needs. Provide hands-on physical therapy to help patients recover mobility, strength, and function. Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term health management. Complete documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient progress and feedback. Why Royal Oak?

Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active Florida Physical Therapy license. Proven experience in physical therapy, with a focus on inpatient or outpatient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for patient-centered care.
