Position Overview Insightful Motion Therapy is looking for a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Miramar Beach, Florida. This full-time position focuses on delivering comprehensive and personalized care in a home care environment. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover mobility, maintain their physical health, and improve their overall quality of life. Work Environment This position is primarily onsite, and you will work directly in patients' homes, allowing you to develop personalized treatment plans specifically tailored to their unique living environments and daily challenges. Our full-time therapists operate on a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet flexible work setting that allows for deep personal interaction with each client. The culture here encourages teamwork, learning from one another, and ensuring the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' needs and physical capabilities to establish treatment goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize various therapeutic methods to promote full recovery. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure thorough and focused care. Utilize manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and improve mobility, emphasizing non-surgical treatment methods. Administer specific exercise programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall functionality. Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed, maintaining clear communication with clients and families about their rehabilitation journey. Document all services accurately and comprehensively in accordance with regulatory and legal standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Encourage patients to cultivate a healthy, active lifestyle through education and motivation. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on individuals of all ages who require physical rehabilitation due to various conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgery recovery, chronic pain, and age-related mobility issues. The diverse patient population offers unique opportunities for therapists to apply their expertise and creativity, ensuring each treatment plan addresses the specific needs and goals of the patient. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (a Master's or Doctorate is preferred). A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to patients. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to streamline documentation processes. Preferred Experience Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, with a strong understanding of injury treatment and rehabilitation. Demonstrated ability to successfully motivate and educate patients about their treatment plans and health improvement strategies.
