Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Nestled in vibrant Hialeah, FL, this travel assignment places you in the heart of South Florida's cultural mosaic—minutes from world-famous beaches, dynamic city life, and a thriving arts scene. You'll have hands-on experience in a high-acuity hospital setting within a robust rehab department, gaining exposure to diverse approaches in physical therapy, innovative equipment, and electronic documentation systems—including Meditech and NetHealth (ReDoc). The role encourages professional growth by collaborating with clinicians from varied backgrounds, all in a unit celebrated for outstanding teamwork and recognized for excellence.
Schedule/Hours:
Day Shift Variable assignments based on inpatient rehab, acute rehab, or outpatient needs
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license BLS certification required Experience as a hospital-based therapist preferred Skilled in patient evaluations and follow-up treatments, including vestibular and lymphedema therapies Adaptability to a fast-paced, changing environment Strong independent problem-solving and effective teamwork skills Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are highly regarded
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform patient evaluations, develop and execute treatment plans Deliver comprehensive follow-up therapies across settings (IRF, acute, outpatient) Use Meditech and NetHealth (ReDoc) for detailed, timely documentation Contribute to high-quality care standards and patient satisfaction Collaborate with
PT/OT/ST
team for best rehabilitation outcomes
