Responsibilities for

DPTs:

Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical exams. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and clinical evaluations. Provide therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications. Track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and healthcare standards. Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy techniques and healthcare regulations. Promote wellness and prevention of injury by educating patients and the public on maintaining healthy physical function. Qualifications for

DPTs:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
