Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations for each patient upon initial visit to assess their physical capabilities and identify specific treatment needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on achieving measurable goals for each individual patient. Monitor patient progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on the patient's response and clinical evidence. Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation to treat physical impairments. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies that can sustain and enhance physical health beyond therapy sessions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and holistic treatment approaches. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress according to state regulations and professional standards. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of this role will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. A significant amount of our patient population consists of adults aged 50 and older, necessitating a strong understanding of age-related physical challenges and rehabilitation methods tailored for senior patients. Your expertise will be essential in helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Qualifications Possession of a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (such as a Master's or Doctorate) from an accredited institution. Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to all regulatory requirements within the field of physical therapy. Strong communication skills and a capacity to build rapport with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively as part of a collective team, achieving shared goals for patient care. Preferred Experience At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, particularly with orthopedic or geriatric patients, is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software. A proactive approach to continuing education, with a keen interest in developing specialized skills or techniques in physical therapy. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 90,000
