Job Description
Job Summary We are Seeking a Licensed Physical therapist from an accredited DPT program. Tired of driving? Come work at our warm, boutique style Pediatric clinic. This is a part time schedule that will be built to full time. At the moment 20-25 hours are guaranteed and will be paid despite cancellations until full schedule is built. This position is a 1099 posiition with added perks. We do need someone who is able to work afternoons. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring and enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient mobility, strength, and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clinical best practices and patient goals. Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and exercise programs tailored to each patient's needs. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize recovery outcomes. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems following clinical documentation standards. Educate patients and their families on exercises, home health routines, and community resources to support ongoing rehabilitation. Requirements Valid licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, or home health environments with a focus on patient care. knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pediatrics, and related medical terminology. Experience with outpatient rehabilitation centers or outpatient clinic settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation management. Ability to develop effective treatment plans for diverse populations including geriatric and pediatric patients.
