Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Looking for an opportunity to provide high-quality therapy services in a supportive outpatient hospital environment? This contract position offers a chance for a dedicated physical therapist to make a measurable impact on patient recovery and safety, focusing on personalized care and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist Clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans Strong adherence to professional codes of conduct and patient confidentiality Familiarity with safety protocols regarding patient handling, infection control, and workplace hazards Competence in documentation, goal-setting, and functional assessments within established guidelines Excellent communication skills for patient, family, and team education
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, contract basis Hours aligned with outpatient clinic operations
Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations and create targeted treatment plans for each patient Document all care activities with clarity and accuracy, following clinical, legal, and facility standards Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient goals and outcomes are met within the prescribed length of stay Uphold a culture of safety for both patients and staff, following all procedures for equipment and environmental safety Educate patients, families, and colleagues on therapy goals, progress, and safe practices Participate in performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance service quality Serve as a mentor to students, fostering positive learning experiences and supervising clinical education as required Maintain continuous professional development and active licensure status
