Category Therapy - Skilled - PT Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives by providing skilled physical therapy at a welcoming outpatient pediatric clinic. Beginning in August, this part-time contract role invites a dedicated PT to contribute expertise two to three days each week near the sunny shores of Daytona Beach. You'll work with a compassionate team that values quality care and innovative approaches within a supportive clinic environment.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in a pediatric outpatient setting Proficient with therapy evaluations and re-evaluations Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and fellow clinicians Ability to develop creative, child-centered care plans Flexibility and positivity to adapt to the needs of each individual patient
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, managing the bulk of the patient caseload in these essential areas Design and implement individualized treatment plans for children with diverse needs Maintain clear, accurate documentation in accordance with healthcare standards Communicate progress, treatment goals, and clinical recommendations to families and interdisciplinary staff Promote an inclusive, supportive environment for children and families Embrace a role where you'll foster skill development and independence for young clients, all while enjoying the work-life balance of a flexible, part-time schedule.
