Position Overview Amiral Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our growing team in North Fort Myers, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing tailored treatment programs for our patients. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes in a supportive and dynamic rehabilitation environment. Work Environment Your role will be based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in North Fort Myers. This environment fosters collaboration between clinical staff and allows for the application of evidence-based treatment methodologies. The facility is equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic equipment, ensuring you have the resources you need to provide the highest standard of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to pinpoint patient needs and develop customized treatment plans that align with physician referrals. Administer therapy across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a positive patient experience while achieving organizational effectiveness. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient treatment outcomes by leveraging shared knowledge and best practices. Provide in-home therapeutic care as necessary, ensuring alignment with the physician's prescribed plan. Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols and rehabilitation goals to empower them throughout the recovery process. Meet established utilization goals and contribute to other business objectives consistently. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clientele encompasses a diverse range of individuals across various age groups and backgrounds. You will engage with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, all requiring a distinct approach tailored to their unique situations. You will play a vital role in helping them navigate their healing journeys, providing not only physical therapy but also emotional support and encouragement. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program. Active state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) obtained through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety in all scenarios. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with patients and team members. Proficiency in word processing and computer software to maintain accurate patient records. Ability to build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with patients, guiding them to exceed their functional goals. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with diverse clinical backgrounds, such as sports medicine or pediatrics, will be viewed favorably. Experience working in a collaborative team-based environment is also preferred, as it reflects our organization's commitment to shared care.
