Category Therapy - Skilled - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a talented Physical Therapist with expertise in skilled therapy and healthcare settings. This part-time position, starting in August, offers the chance to make a significant impact at an outpatient pediatric clinic near Ormond Beach, FL. You'll enjoy a flexible work schedule of 2-3 days each week, focusing on delivering exceptional care to children in need of physical therapy services.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Current Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Florida Experience with pediatric and outpatient therapy practices Strong assessment and clinical evaluation abilities Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload with a high volume of evaluations and re-evaluations Excellent communication and documentation skills Collaborative approach with clinic staff and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clients Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Track patient progress and update treatment goals as needed Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and inter-disciplinary teams Maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with regulatory and clinic standards Provide support and education to patients and their families to optimize therapy outcomes
