This role is not just about treating patients; it's about becoming a trusted ally in their journey to restoring mobility and optimizing their physical performance. With a yearly salary range of
USD 80,000
to 95,000, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our patients' lives through personalized therapeutic interventions and comprehensive rehabilitation strategies. About the Organization At Flex and Flow of Motion Therapeutics, we specialize in delivering individualized rehabilitation services aimed at helping patients regain their mobility and improve their overall well-being. Our facility is designed to provide a welcoming environment where our patients can feel comfortable and inspired to work towards their health goals. We pride ourselves on our evidence-based approach and commitment to continuous learning to ensure the highest standards of care. Work Environment The role is entirely onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and modalities. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and administrative staff, all working collaboratively to provide top-notch patient care. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a stable schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Assess each patient's unique needs by conducting thorough evaluations that inform customized treatment plans. Maintain a manageable patient load, allowing for focused, high-quality interaction with each individual—typically one patient per hour. Create, implement, and occasionally adjust individual fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific goals and capabilities of each client. Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens to enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and overall physical functionality. Document accurate progress notes and treatment outcomes in our EMR software, such as WebPT, ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team. Encourage adherence to rehabilitation protocols while motivating patients throughout their treatment journey. Engage in ongoing evaluations of patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—such as physicians and occupational therapists—to develop comprehensive care strategies that address the multifaceted needs of patients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on patients recuperating from orthopedic ailments, sports injuries, and surgeries. The clientele encompasses a diverse group, ranging from elite athletes to older adults recovering from joint replacements or falls, all seeking to regain their independence and mobility. As such, your approach will be tailored to the distinct goals and challenges of each patient, ensuring a patient-centered experience at every step. Qualifications A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, free of any board or disciplinary actions. Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design and implementation of targeted exercise programs. Familiarity with using electronic medical records software, specifically WebPT, is essential. Preferred Experience Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings will be advantageous. Experience engaging in patient education and community outreach initiatives. Knowledge of alternative therapy methods that minimize reliance on medication. Compensation and Benefits In addition to a competitive salary ranging from
USD 80,000
to 95,000 annually based on your experience, Flex and Flow of Motion Therapeutics offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your financial, health, and life goals.
