Physical Therapy License Pediatrics Medicaid Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated physical therapist to join our office in Pembroke Pines, FL! Part time hours (with potential to become full time)
Monday- Friday:
4 patients in the afternoon 3x a week, 1 morning patient 1x a week $80 per evaluation/re-evaluation $70 per treatment visit
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals. Educate and train parents/caregivers on ways to support their child's progress outside of therapy sessions. Use therapeutic activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment to help improve patients' independence and quality of life. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and assessments.
Qualifications:
Experience working with pediatric populations Strong understanding of developmental milestones and disorders common in children. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a passion for working with children and families.
Requirements:
FL Dept. of Health License in Physical Therapy Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Credentialled in Florida Medicaid Valid driver's license/ reliable transportation
