Position Overview Well Guard Physical Therapy Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Saint Cloud, Florida. In this role, you will play an instrumental part in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, focusing on restoring motion and ensuring they operate at their peak performance levels. Your expertise will help enhance patients' quality of life, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques across promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Our state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot outpatient facility is equipped with the latest sports medicine technology. We specialize in treating orthopedic conditions and support our patients through every step of their recovery process, emphasizing evidence-based practices and personalized care. Work Environment This full-time position is onsite at our outpatient office, where you'll collaborate closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals. Our clinic offers a welcoming atmosphere with a well-designed layout conducive to patient assessment and treatment, creating an engaging environment that fosters healing and wellness. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and meet patients' goals and rehabilitation needs by creating personalized care plans. Treat an average of 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on effective, personalized interventions that promote recovery. Utilize a diverse array of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens tailored to individual patient requirements. Implement fitness and wellness programs that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in patients. Monitor treatment efficacy through evaluations, and consistently communicate progress to patients, ensuring they stay motivated and informed. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care services and treatment plans in compliance with clinic protocols. Engage with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care and explore multi-disciplinary treatment approaches. Educate patients on strategies to reduce dependency on medications and provide non-surgical alternatives for managing their conditions. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on patients dealing with orthopedic issues, who come to us looking for rehabilitation solutions that are both effective and cost-efficient. You will work with individuals of varying ages, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults seeking relief from chronic pain or surgical recovery. Our holistic approach ensures that we address not just the physical aspects of rehabilitation, but also the emotional and psychological support needed during treatment. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred. Current Florida Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions. National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one before employment. Strong manual therapy skills and experience in therapeutic exercise. Preferred Experience Prior experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient care is a must. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT. A demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
