Work Environment This onsite position requires visiting clients in their homes across Tampa, Florida. You will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and support staff to coordinate patient care efficiently while ensuring all treatments are safe and effective. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial client evaluations to assess physical capabilities and formulate individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific functional limitations. Guide and direct the treatment process, implementing various therapies to alleviate pain, restore mobility, and prevent disabilities. Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), ensuring adherence to best practices and the tailored care plan. Utilize diagnostic and prognostic tests to adjust treatment strategies based on client progress and response. Integrate evaluations of the home environment to recommend necessary modifications that will enhance client independence. Document clinical progress and alterations in patient status through comprehensive records, including initial assessments, care plans, and discharge summaries. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively discuss and evaluate client progress, adapting care plans as necessary. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will focus on a variety of clients, including elderly patients, post-surgical individuals, and those recovering from injury. By delivering at-home therapy, you will play a critical role in patient recovery and adaptation, addressing both physical and emotional needs through personalized interaction and therapy. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in home care. Current and valid PT licensure in good standing within the State of Florida. Certification in CPR and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance are necessary for conducting home visits. Preferred Experience Experience in managing complex cases in home care settings while addressing multifaceted patient needs. Familiarity with rehabilitative equipment and techniques to improve client mobilization and independence. Ability to build rapport with patients and their families, enhancing their understanding and adherence to therapy. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from
USD 100,000
