Work Environment The position is primarily based in a home care setting, allowing therapists to deliver personalized services in the comfort and familiarity of patients' homes. This onsite role offers flexibility, with a schedule from Monday to Friday that allows you to choose your hours. Our collaborative team works together to maintain open communication, ensuring all staff are aligned in providing the best patient care. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' conditions through in-depth assessments to design personalized treatment plans. Administer therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, and hands-on therapies tailored to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Utilize a range of specialized equipment and tools to support therapy sessions and monitor patient progress. Document treatment plans, patient responses, and progress accurately to facilitate optimal care and future adjustments. Reassess and revise treatment goals regularly, ensuring they reflect the patient's evolving needs and health status. Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on physical therapy procedures, assistive devices, and strategies to promote safety and independence. Engage in professional development by attending workshops and participating in relevant community and professional organizations. Patient Population / Client Focus The main focus will be on outpatient patients requiring ongoing rehabilitation. Our clientele includes both children and adults recovering from various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, post-operative care, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. Each therapist will play a pivotal role in promoting health and wellness, guiding patients through tailored interventions that align with their personal goals. Qualifications Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess a current license to practice in the State of Florida. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction and documentation. Basic computer and word processing skills are necessary for documenting patient care and engaging with electronic health record systems. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of patients in a dynamic home care environment. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, we encourage new graduates to apply, as we offer mentorship programs designed to support and develop emerging professionals. Experience in home health care settings or geriatric care is advantageous but not mandatory. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
