Job Description

Jackson Therapy Partners seeks a Neuro Physical Therapist to provide evidence-based rehabilitation to patients with neurological conditions in acute, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings. In this role, you will complete comprehensive neuro PT evaluations, develop and progress individualized treatment plans, deliver gait, balance, and neuromuscular re-education, and document care in accordance with payer and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and may travel to diverse facilities nationwide with strong recruiter and clinical support for ongoing development. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive neurological physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations Develop, implement, and progress individualized neuro-focused treatment plans Provide gait, balance, vestibular, and neuromuscular re-education interventions Document evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports per regulatory and payer standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members on patient plans of care Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and functional strategies Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and discharge planning Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards of neuro rehabilitation practice Adapt care across diverse settings such as acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient clinics Engage in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice Required Skills Neurological physical therapy evaluation and treatment Gait and balance assessment and training Neuromuscular re-education techniques Stroke and TBI rehabilitation Vestibular assessment and treatment Functional mobility and transfer training EMR documentation and outcome measures Interdisciplinary care coordination Patient and caregiver education Regulatory and payer compliance
