Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract A physical therapist position is available in Jackson, GA, on a contract basis. This role involves assessing, planning, and participating in rehabilitative programs aimed at improving patient mobility, relieving pain, increasing strength, and preventing deformities due to disease or injury. The position requires delivering care in a cost-conscious, quality-focused, and customer-oriented manner while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Collaborate with physicians and patients/families to establish realistic goals and discharge plans. Provide ongoing patient and family education, training, and discharge instructions. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and other required information according to departmental protocols. Maintain ethical business practices, confidentiality, attendance, and comply with dress code policies. Communicate effectively with team members and participate in meetings and training. Utilize materials and equipment safely and efficiently, observing infection prevention protocols. Apply AIDET principles to enhance patient interactions and provide excellent customer service. Participate in professional development, mandatory education, and orientation activities. Perform additional duties as assigned following healthcare system policies and standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Current Physical Therapist (PT) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent. Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, teamwork capability, and basic computer proficiency.

Schedule/Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. One weekend day every four weeks.
