Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Background in pediatric and/or school-based physical therapy preferred Experience developing individualized treatment plans (IEPs) Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving educational environment
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for students referred for physical therapy Develop and implement customized therapy interventions to support students' mobility, motor skills, and access to curriculum Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student achievement Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports Engage actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to goal-setting and planning Provide guidance and education to school staff on mobility and physical development issues
