In this role, you will deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. Your focus will be on developing personalized care plans, promoting recovery, and enhancing mobility for diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and those in acute care or community settings. Duties Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations, utilizing your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to inform treatment strategies Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and medical history Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and exercise prescription to facilitate recovery Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions between hospital, home, and community care environments Document patient progress accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, maintaining thorough records of treatments and outcomes Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention, and ongoing self-care strategies Participate in outpatient clinics or home health visits to deliver targeted therapy services in various settings Qualifications Valid licensure as a Physiotherapist with relevant regulatory bodies Proven experience in acute care, inpatient hospital environments, outpatient clinics, or home health settings Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to physiotherapy practice Experience with discharge planning, care plans development, and working within EMR systems Knowledge of pediatric and geriatric patient needs; experience in orthopedics and geriatrics is highly desirable Familiarity with home & community care programs and outpatient therapy protocols Skills in trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques are preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients Join us to empower patients through expert physiotherapy care!
