Minimum 2 Years of Physical Therapy Experience Required About the Role We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Waimea, Hawaii . This role provides comprehensive physical therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings , including Acute Care, ICU, Skilled Nursing, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, and hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation. The ideal candidate is an independent clinician with strong clinical judgment and discharge planning experience. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings, including Acute Care, ICU, SNF, Med/Surg, ER, and Outpatient Rehabilitation. Evaluate patient mobility, functional status, and implement evidence-based rehabilitation interventions. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning and optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EMR while adhering to rehabilitation and patient safety standards. Requirements Active Hawaii Physical Therapist License required by the start of the assignment. Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience required. Current BLS Certification required. Experience in acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing preferred. Must be available to work Monday Friday schedules and Saturdays as required with flexibility for scheduling changes. Interested candidates can apply with an updated resume for immediate consideration.
