Key Qualifications:

Active Illinois Physical Therapist license Prior experience working in K-12 schools or with pediatric populations highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families Ability to carry out individualized and group therapy sessions onsite Skilled in documentation and reporting related to student progress

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, student-centered physical therapy services onsite Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Assess and document students' physical strengths and areas for growth Educate school staff and caregivers on physical therapy strategies for optimal student outcomes Monitor, report, and track students' progress towards their therapeutic goals Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
