IDFPR Physical Therapist License About the Opportunity A school district is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide short-term FMLA coverage through January 2027. This position will work across the district with students of various ages and grade levels, with a particular focus on transition-aged students ages 18-22. This is a great opportunity for a PT with school-based or educational experience who enjoys working with students across a variety of ages and needs. Position Overview The Physical Therapist will provide services throughout the district, supporting students across multiple grade levels. While the caseload is mixed, there will be a larger emphasis on students in the district's transition program, serving young adults ages 18-22. The assignment is expected to continue through January to help the district address compensatory minutes. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services to students across the district Support students across a variety of grade levels and needs Work primarily with transition-aged students ages 18-22 Provide services and support related to students' educational goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed Help the district address compensatory service minutes Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy Current IDFPR Physical Therapist License School-based or educational experience preferred Experience working with transition-aged students is a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working with students across a wide range of ages and needs Why You'll Love This Opportunity Full-time FMLA coverage with a defined short-term assignment Work throughout the district rather than being limited to one building Opportunity to work with transition-aged students (18-22) Varied caseload across multiple grade levels Meaningful opportunity to support students' functional and educational goals School-based schedule of approximately 8:00 AM-3:30 PM Competitive $45-$65/hour compensation Assignment runs ASAP through January 2027 Why AnthroMed AnthroMed Team Members who work 30+ hours per week are eligible for the full-time employee benefits offered by AnthroMed Benefits begin the first of the month after start date.
