This contract position requires a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) who can bring expertise in both healthcare and educational environments. Working two days per week, the PT will play a critical role in supporting the physical therapy needs of school-aged children while overseeing and guiding the work of a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct physical therapy services to students with various needs in the school environment. Supervise and mentor the PTA to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to treatment plans. Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to optimize student outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant healthcare and educational regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing individualized treatment strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed Physical Therapist with a strong background in both healthcare and school-based therapy. Experience supervising PTAs, demonstrating leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team within a school setting. Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy and school health policies preferred.
