Therapy & Balance Centers FYZICAL is seeking a Physical Therapist with experience treating municipal employees and managing workers' compensation cases. Candidates with specialty training in dry needling, pelvic health, and/or sports medicine are strongly encouraged to apply. About the Role As a Staff Physical Therapist at FYZICAL, you will deliver individualized, evidence-based care focused on helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to a higher quality of life. You'll work closely with a collaborative team while managing a full yet balanced caseload (10-12 patients/day) in a clinic known for orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and neurological rehab. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide hands-on, patient-centered therapy focused on improving movement, strength, balance, and function. Treat municipal employees and workers' compensation cases with professionalism and clarity in documentation. Utilize specialty skills as applicable (dry needling, pelvic health, sports medicine, vestibular/balance). Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and functional goals. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation per IDFPR, Medicare, APTA, and payer guidelines. Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and self-management strategies. Manage a daily caseload of 10-12 patients while ensuring high clinical quality. Collaborate with PTAs, support staff, and referring physicians to enhance patient outcomes. Professional Development & Compliance Maintain an active Illinois PT license and necessary CE requirements. Participate in FYZICAL Chicago's ongoing training, mentoring, and skill-development pathways. Adhere to
HIPAA, IDFPR
regulations, and FYZICAL policies. Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient care. Clinic Team Contribution Support clinic growth through excellent clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Participate in staff meetings, community outreach, and occasional marketing initiatives. Mentor new clinicians or students as requested. Represent FYZICAL's mission to help patients Love Their Lives® . Join Sales Liaison visits to local physicians or partners when assigned (light involvement). Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's (MPT) from an accredited program. Current or pending Illinois PT license. CPR/BLS certification. Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills. Experience with workers' comp and/or municipal patient populations preferred. Specialties such as dry needling, pelvic health, sports medicine, or vestibular rehab are a significant plus. Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills. Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Work Environment Outpatient setting specializing in balance, vestibular, orthopedic, and neurological rehabilitation.
