Job Description
Home Health Physical Therapist $75-$120 per visit | Cicero-area territory (others available as well) | Flexible caseload Already working in home health and tired of scattered territories, inconsistent referrals, unnecessary meetings, or being micromanaged? Distinctive Therapy Services is looking for an experienced Home Health Physical Therapist to cover patients within approximately a 35-minute radius of Cicero, IL. This is not an entry-level home health position. We're looking for a PT who already understands how home health works, is comfortable managing patients independently, and wants to spend their working time actually treating patients—not sitting through meetings or on the phone with the office throughout the week. You manage your schedule. We keep the referrals coming and support you behind the scenes. What Makes This Different No weekly case conferences. No required phone check-ins. No unnecessary administrative meetings. We don't expect you to spend unpaid time sitting in meetings or calling an office just to prove you're working. Take care of your patients, complete your documentation, communicate when something clinically needs attention, and get on with your life. A defined territory. We're specifically building coverage around Cicero and the surrounding area—not asking you to drive all over Chicagoland. You control your day. Organize your patients and route in the way that makes the most sense for you. Steady referrals without finding your own patients. DTS works with 75+ established home health partners throughout the Chicago market and provides the patient volume with a census over 500 active patients. Independence without being on your own. You handle your patients independently in the field while our administrative team handles the operational work behind the scenes and is available when you actually need support. Work with people who understand therapy. DTS is therapist-owned and has been serving the Chicago area for more than 40 years. Compensation $75-$120 per visit, depending on visit type. Who We're Looking For This position is best suited for a PT who: Has previous home health experience Holds an active Illinois Physical Therapist license Is comfortable independently managing a home health caseload Can organize their own daily route and schedule Completes documentation accurately and on time Communicates when there is an actual clinical or patient-care need Has reliable transportation Territory Approximately a 35-minute radius around Cicero, Illinois.
