Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting where your physical therapy skills can make a lasting impact on elementary students. We're searching for an experienced Physical Therapist to work part-time with an engaging ESY program. This contract position offers the flexibility you need and a positive, collaborative team atmosphere devoted to student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license Prior pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred Comfort assessing and supporting elementary-age children Strong communication and case documentation abilities Collaborative approach and adaptability in a school environment Experience providing therapy within Individualized Education Program (IEP) frameworks is highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted, evidence-based physical therapy services to elementary students during the ESY session Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans Document interventions, progress, and communications in compliance with school and state requirements Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and other service providers to promote continuity of care and student progress Contribute insights to IEP teams, supporting the integration of therapy goals into classroom activities Adapt services and schedule to meet the evolving needs of students in a vibrant, inclusive environment
