Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Physical Therapy license in Illinois (or eligible for licensure) Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desired Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Comfort working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic techniques and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate physical therapy interventions for students with varying abilities Set and monitor progress towards individualized goals as part of IEP teams Facilitate mobility, coordination, and participation within the classroom environment Educate staff and families on safe, effective practices and routines Maintain clear, accurate documentation and contribute to annual reviews and assessments This contract position is designed to provide you with a dynamic, flexible work environment and the chance to make a lasting impact on young learners.
