Key Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with valid credentials for school-based practice Solid understanding of therapy protocols within K-12 environments Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly valued Proficient in developing and implementing individualized therapy plansCore Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs as outlined in IEPs Design and guide therapy interventions that promote students' functional independence and participation in school activities Monitor progress, document services, and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving goals Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and parents Provide education, strategies, and support to staff and families to optimize student success in both classroom and extracurricular environments This contract position offers a chance to work within a supportive school community dedicated to student growth and well-being.
