Part-Time Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Gurnee, Illinois. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and helping individuals restore function, improve mobility, and reduce pain. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in an upbeat, collaborative clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and physician referrals Deliver hands-on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve functional goals Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and clinic standards Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and wellness strategies Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment Qualifications Doctor or Master of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program Current Illinois Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain) CPR/BLS certification Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Previous outpatient orthopedic experience Experience with manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches Familiarity with EMR systems Work Schedule Part-time hours (flexible scheduling) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience) Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment About Us Doctors of Physical Therapy is a patient-focused outpatient physical therapy clinic dedicated to helping individuals achieve their highest level of function and quality of life.
