Job Description
We are seeking a Full-time Director of Rehabilitation who is also a licensed Physical Therapist to oversee the therapy program at Plymouth Place Senior Living (located at 315 N LaGrange Rd, LaGrange Park, IL 60526). This is a salaried position with full benefits. A minimum of one to two years therapy management experience within a skilled nursing home environment is preferred. Pay rate is negotiable. Job Overview Plans, organizes, and directs programs delivering rehabilitative services. Responsibilities and Duties Ensures efficient and effective operations for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech departments. Identifies services through program planning and facilitates program development. Manages therapy staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Assists staff in assessing needs of clients and ensures the proper level of care is delivered. Achieves high customer satisfaction for healthcare delivery and financial goals. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Analyzes data to determine effectiveness of rehabilitative programs. Interacts with interdisciplinary team members, monitors compliance, manages insurance/billing issues, and coordinates clinical aspects of the rehab program. Works closely with the MDS staff to ensure maximum reimbursement. Plans treatment schedules, tracks MDS assessments, and completes monthly billing. Trains and collaborates with therapy and nursing staff to improve interaction and ensure positive response from facility residents. Implements JNR and client facility policies and procedures. Assigns tasks and duties to therapy staff as needed. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
