Physical Therapist - Pelvic Health Specialist Pelvic Love Physiotherapy and Wellness PLLC Peoria, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $40 - $48 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Continuing education credits Paid holidays Paid time off Flextime Qualifications Physical Therapy License Full Job Description Physical Therapist Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for pelvic health and orthopedic patients in a small, cash-based private PT practice. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients' conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic strategies for patients of all genders. Responsibilities Diagnose physical impairments, and develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient assessments and goals. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to enhance patient recovery. Very limited use of modalities. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including internal vaginal and/or rectal examinations as needed, to determine their physical therapy needs. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for improvement. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and methodologies, including maintenance of state-required continuing education for license renewal. Conduct administrative, scheduling, and billing duties related to each patient. Experience Licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Illinois. 2 - 3 years' professional experience as a PT preferred but not required. Minimum of Level 1 Pelvic Floor Training completion preferred through the APTA or Herman & Wallace CAPP-PF, CAPP-OB, WCS, or PRPC certifications strongly preferred. No interfacing with insurance companies or completion of prior authorizations; freedom and flexibility to set plans of care based upon clinical judgement. Patient treatment is completed in a large private treatment room designed for pelvic health patients in a quiet environment.
