Position Overview Caring Physical Therapy is searching for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Schaumburg, Illinois. This full-time position involves providing exceptional patient care while implementing individualized therapeutic treatment plans designed to promote healing, mobility, and improved quality of life. Work Environment As a Physical Therapist at Caring Physical Therapy, you will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation center, which is equipped with the latest technology and resources to effectively address the unique needs of our patients. Our team collaborates closely in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and camaraderie. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient schedules and clinic operations. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and analyze patient needs to develop tailored treatment plans focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and modalities, ensuring proper technique and safety during each session. Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, proper body mechanics, and effective home exercise programs to facilitate ongoing recovery. Administer treatments involving modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and therapeutic heat/cold based on individual patient assessments. Document and monitor patient progress meticulously, tracking key metrics like range of motion and strength gains while adjusting treatment approaches as necessary. Prepare treatment areas efficiently and ensure all equipment is ready for use, maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization throughout the facility. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to deliver interdisciplinary care that optimizes patient outcomes. Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere for patients, providing emotional and psychological encouragement as they navigate their rehabilitation paths. Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity at all times. Patient Population / Client Focus You will interact with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from athletic individuals requiring sports rehabilitation to elderly patients focused on regaining independence after surgery. Our team is adept at addressing the unique challenges faced by each population, and you will play a critical role in enhancing their rehabilitation experiences through customized care. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist must be obtained. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload efficiently in a busy clinical environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practice standards in physical therapy. Preferred Experience At least one year of experience working in a rehabilitation setting, demonstrating proficiency in creating and implementing treatment plans. Experience in working with specialized populations such as sports-related injuries or geriatrics is advantageous. Knowledge of clinical documentation requirements and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
