Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an engaging opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting as a Physical Therapist. This onsite, part-time contract role offers 15 hours per week over two days, perfectly suited for those seeking a dynamic yet balanced schedule. The assignment runs from August 7, 2026 (with orientation on August 3 and 4), through May 20, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable performing assessments, designing treatment plans, and documenting progress Able to adapt therapy to support a diverse student population
What You'll Do:
Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students Complete comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP development Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Take part in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and process improvement initiatives Participate in orientation, annual reviews, and ongoing check-ins with supervisors
