Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as an onsite PT working part time, just two days per week (15 hours). This role offers the chance to make a direct impact in both resource and self-contained settings, collaborating with a diverse student population. Orientation begins August 3 and 4, with students starting on August 7, 2026; the assignment runs through May 20, 2027. Qualifications & Experience:
Holds a valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience or interest in working in school settings (K-12) Comfortable providing services in both resource and self-contained classrooms Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills Effective with time management and flexible in fast-paced school environments

Deliver onsite physical therapy services to students in K-12, adapting interventions to meet individual needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster a supportive educational experience Utilize available equipment and testing materials to perform assessments and interventions Participate in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and 1:1 leader check-ins for ongoing support and development Take advantage of professional development courses to expand your school-based practice skills Engage in process improvement initiatives aimed at refining service delivery for students Experience meaningful collaboration, plentiful resources, and opportunities for professional growth while helping students achieve their best.
