Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year in a school-based contract position near Avon, IN. This opportunity is ideal for a Physical Therapist passionate about supporting students' growth and participation in their educational environment. You'll work closely with a diverse team of educators and professionals, helping students access their curricula and achieve functional mobility goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current and valid PT license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt interventions for students from kindergarten through high school
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individualized assessments to determine students' therapy needs Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans within the school setting Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student access and participation Document student progress and contribute to IEP meetings as required Provide direct and consultative services for a varied K-12 caseload Promote a positive and encouraging learning environment for all students
