Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing physical therapy services in a supportive school environment. This contract position allows for part-time hours, making it ideal for professionals seeking flexibility and a manageable daily commitment. You'll work directly with a caseload of 11 students, helping them reach their developmental and educational goals in a collaborative setting.
What We're Looking For:
Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Previous experience providing PT services in a school setting is preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy practices and school-based interventions Excellent ability to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families Strong documentation and organizational skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for assigned students Deliver physical therapy services directly to students in alignment with IEP goals Monitor progress, modify plans as needed, and provide updates to educational teams and families Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Offer recommendations for adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and strategies to enhance student engagement
