Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based contract role offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on K-12 students during the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Physical Therapist interested in working three days per week, supporting growth and achievement in a collaborative educational environment. You'll experience the fulfillment of fostering students' development while benefiting from a consistent, part-time schedule. The schools are located in the vicinity of Avon and Plainfield, Indiana, serving learners from kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Physical Therapist license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain) Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children across K-12 Familiarity with IEPs and school documentation requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team Prior school-based PT experience is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' motor skills and develop individualized therapy plans Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and engage families in the therapy process Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture This role offers a unique blend of flexibility and the rewarding challenge of empowering students to achieve their potential.
