Support students' progress and well-being, collaborating with a multidisciplinary educational team to help children achieve greater independence and success in their day-to-day school life. Your role will be instrumental in creating tailored therapy plans that promote physical development and inclusivity—helping students shine in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in state of practice Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy preferred Ability to assess and treat a variety of physical disabilities and conditions in children and adolescents Effective communicator, able to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for PT services Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on student strengths and needs Deliver direct therapy sessions and integrate activities into the classroom setting Maintain accurate records of student progress, intervention strategies, and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, provide updates, and contribute to goal planning Educate teachers and caregivers on strategies to promote students' physical development Collaborate with other school professionals to ensure the best support for each student Enjoy the perks of a flexible part-time schedule that enables work-life balance, all while contributing your expertise in a meaningful setting.
