Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students as a Physical Therapist in a supportive educational setting near Vevay, IN. This contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled PT with a passion for helping children achieve their highest potential. You'll be working across 2.5 to 3 days per week for the full school year, collaborating with dedicated teams to impact student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work with students, teachers, and families Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Conduct evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations to determine therapy needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's progress Maintain accurate records and timely documentation Assist with mobility, adaptive equipment, and accessibility recommendations within the school setting Promote physical well-being and independence for students with varying abilities Enjoy a consistent part-time schedule, giving you work-life balance while still making a significant impact over the course of the full academic year.
