Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Advance your career in physical therapy within a modern, 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation center featuring state-of-the-art technology, including a Vector unweighted system and a fully equipped IADL (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) kitchen. Work alongside a collaborative team of PTs, PTAs, OTs, and SLPs, delivering individualized care in a supportive and innovative environment.
Schedule:
7:00 am - 5:00 pm 8-hour shifts Rotating weekends
Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist (PT) licensure required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
Acute inpatient rehabilitation experience or neuro certification/experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated familiarity with ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym devices, and vital monitoring machines Experience utilizing Meditech Magic EMR systems Hands-on clinical approach with a focus on direct patient care Flexibility for start and stop times, teamwork orientation
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans Deliver daily treatments, including gait and balance training, neuromuscular re-education, and caregiver instruction Manage a treatment caseload up to 6 hours per day within an 8-hour shift, ensuring time and charges fulfill the unit's 3-hour therapy requirement for inpatient rehab patients Track treatment metrics and documentation accurately in alignment with facility policies
