Part Time Physical Therapist Leavenworth, Kansas Part-Time (20 Hours per week) Monday-Friday, School Schedule Position Available for 2026/2027
School Year Pay Rate:
$54
- 56/Hr Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations as prescribed by a physician.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal physical function, mobility, and quality of life. Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional mobility training. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and rehabilitation goals. Consult regularly with physicians regarding patient progress, treatment modifications, and contraindications. Complete timely and thorough documentation in compliance with facility policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards. Accurately complete billing procedures for therapy services in accordance with payer guidelines and facility protocols. Participate in discharge planning, including home assessments, caregiver training, and patient education to ensure safe transitions of care. Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides in accordance with state practice acts and facility policies. Ensure the therapy environment and equipment are safe, clean, and compliant with infection control and safety standards. Supervised Employees Physical Therapist Assistants Rehabilitation Technicians/Aides Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current, active Physical Therapist license in the state(s) of practice Certification by the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) One year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred Why Join Us?
