The physical therapist is tasked with evaluating, planning, directing, and executing therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patient mobility. They administer treatments and physical modalities as prescribed by a referring physician, focusing on restoring function and minimizing disabilities following surgery, illness, or physical impairments. This role requires a dedication to helping empower patients to reach their fullest functional potential. Hours Full-time Monday-Friday, including covering an occasional weekend. Requirements Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of accreditation standards and compliance requirements. They should exhibit strong proficiency in the principles, methods, materials and equipment utilized in physical therapy. The ability to comprehend and adhere to the instructions of the department manager, as well as established policies and procedures, is essential. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience in a hospital or medical office setting. Education Applicants must be graduates of an accredited physical therapy program. They are required to hold a current state license, certification or registration with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. A valid BLS certificate is required.
