Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a physical therapist supporting young learners in a school environment near Grambling, LA. This contract position focuses exclusively on early intervention for children aged 3-4 years old, working collaboratively as a member of a dedicated early interventionist team. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while fostering their growth and development in a nurturing educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Physical Therapy license for the state of Louisiana Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy preferred Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists as part of an early intervention team Strong communication skills and a child-centered approach to therapy Ability to develop and implement individualized PT programs targeted to the unique needs of preschool children
What You'll Do:
Deliver onsite physical therapy services tailored to preschool-aged children within the 3-4-year-old range Assess students' physical development and collaborate on individualized treatment and intervention plans Work closely with the early intervention team to design strategies and support for each child's physical growth Maintain clear documentation of progress, updating plans as needed to achieve goals Engage with families and staff to provide education, resources, and regular feedback on students' progress This part-time role is ideal if you're seeking a flexible schedule—expect up to 4 days per week or fewer, as the caseload is focused and manageable.
