"I CARE": I ntegrity, C ompassion, A ccountability, R espect, and E xcellence Central Louisiana State Hospital located in Pineville, Louisiana is seeking applicants for a vacant position in our Activity Therapy Department as a Physical Therapist 1-2 who provides professional physical therapy services to individuals. The Physical Therapist 1-2 plays a vital role for the Louisiana Department of Health in the Behavioral Health community by utilizing CLSH's values and mission to deliver quality and effective care to our patients. The hospital is highly committed to cooperative work with other state agencies and with the state and regional mental health program to insure the integration and coordination of hospital-community services into a comprehensive system of mental health care. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Physical Therapist license or temporary permit. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Provides skilled Physical Therapy services to early, middle, and late psychiatric adult patients. Performing initial evaluations to determine specific treatment needs. Create individualized treatment plans according to patients' needs and specific measurable objectives and proposed interventions are placed on the interdisciplinary treatment plans. Communicates patients' progress through written documentation and treatment teams, and ensures that this documentation meets quality management standards. Assist with the acquisition, maintenance, and safe use of PT supplies and equipment. Attends and participates in monthly departmental meetings, trainings, and classes for the facility. Contributes to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation:
Physical Therapist 1 has a minimum hire rate of $2,949.60 bi-weekly Physical Therapist 2 has a minimum hire rate of $3,156.00 bi-weekly
