Job Description

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits a licensed Physical Therapist passionate about supporting students of all ages in a dynamic school environment. This full-time role is based onsite, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. You'll be serving as an itinerant therapist, providing direct PT services to approximately 35 students across multiple grade levels during the academic year. What we're looking for: Active Physical Therapist (PT) state license required Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued Proficiency in delivering individualized and group PT interventions Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, staff, and families Ability to manage multiple sites and adapt to diverse student needs Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities In this position, you will: Assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver supportive, evidence-based therapy to promote students' physical development and access to the learning environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate goals into students' IEPs Travel between assigned sites as needed, providing consistent, high-quality care Maintain timely, accurate records and communicate progress with stakeholders Offer strategies and training to educators and families for ongoing support Imagine making a genuine impact on students' lives while contributing your expertise within a welcoming school community.
