Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Physical Therapist over the Extended School Year session, just outside Attleboro, MA. This flexible part-time role runs from July 6th to August 6th, working 2 to 3 days per week, Monday through Thursday, with shifts of approximately 3 hours each day. You'll make a real difference for students ages 4 to 22, collaborating with a passionate educational team in a supportive environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts Previous experience working in school settings preferred, especially with a diverse age range Familiarity with IEP goals, documentation, and therapy planning Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff Organized, adaptable, and able to manage a varied caseload Commitment to fostering students' independence and participation in learning activities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' physical developmental needs and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct therapy services to students ages 4 to 22 in line with IEP requirements Track student progress, adapting interventions as needed Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support holistic student growth Document all therapy sessions and maintain communication regarding student outcomes Participate in team meetings when necessary, contributing your expertise to ensure student success
